What the Clean Marine Program Means
The Clean Marine Program is a voluntary environmental initiative led by Ontario’s marine industry. Participating marinas commit to rigorous operational standards designed to protect our waterways.
Facilities are independently audited and evaluated across all aspects of their operations, including:

  • Fuel handling and spill prevention
  • Waste management and recycling
  • Hazardous material storage and disposal
  • Environmental training and procedures

Each marina earns an Eco-Rating based on these practices—ensuring accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
