We just traded our boat in and bought a beautiful Regal. Our sales person Chris Meyer -- if you ever go to look at boats at Crates make sure you ask to speak with Chris, he was absolutely amazing. This is our 6th boat from different Marinas but we have never had the service from anybody like we received from Chris. Helpful, caring and extremely knowledgeable. Thanks so much Crates but especially Chris. You made our experience amazing. Will definitely be sending our boat friends to see him. Cindy & Mike

I'm writing to update our original review and it is nothing but 5 stars for Crates Lake Country Boats!! We now have the full 2025 boating season behind us and can attest that the whole team at Crates is top notch. Our boat was stored for winter 2024/25 and getting it out of their storage was seamless in the Spring. They took care of us right away with a couple of maintenance issues and the boat ran perfectly all summer. Turning it back in to be winterized and stored was again incredibly easy and they worked with us on a convenient date. Brian Brinks (BEST sales and support ever!) is always so welcoming and friendly when we pop in too! Thank you to Brian, Mark, Brad and the entire staff at Crates. You take the stress out of boating!

This is our 4th boat, but this is our first yacht and our first purchase from Crate's in Orillia. We were a bit nervous moving into such a big boat, but Brian Brinks spent a LOT of time with us going through the unfamiliar systems on the boat followed by (much needed) docking and handling lessons. He was always available to answer our questions. We have been LOVING our new Cruisers Yacht!

We've been working with Crates for years, from our first boat to our current one, and they've been a pleasure to deal with. Al has transported our boats between Oakville and Muskoka for years, and it's always great seeing him. He works with our boat like it's his own. Also big thank you to Brad, Mark, Kevin, and the rest of the team for your work. Most recently, Mark helped arrange a last-minute service call just before the long weekend when we had some mechanical issues in Muskoka, and it was a huge help. Thank you, Al and Jeff, for your fast work! They've definitely helped make boat ownership easier, handling our maintenance and winterizing so we can spend more time on the water. We couldn't recommend them more.

I don't often write reviews, but in this case I think it's well deserved. After purchasing my boat, I discovered an issue that raised some concerns. Rather than ignoring the situation or making excuses, the team at Crate's listened, took my concerns seriously, communicated openly throughout the process, and resolved the issue quickly and professionally. They went above and beyond to ensure the repairs were completed properly and kept me informed every step of the way. It's easy to judge a business when everything goes smoothly, but a company's true character is shown by how they respond when things don't go as planned. In my experience, Crate's went the extra mile to make sure I was completely satisfied and confident in both my purchase and the service they provide. A sincere thank you to Jason Crate, Brian Brinks, and the entire service and parts teams for your professionalism, transparency, and commitment to making things right. That level of customer care is truly appreciated, and it's why I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Crate's to anyone looking to purchase or service a boat.

I have purchased a boat 5 years ago from Crate's so I have met Brian. He is an amazing guy! Very friendly, co-operative and very well experienced. Last week, I sold my boat but absolutely I will keep our friendship with Brian. If you buy a boat from Crate's you would have good friends, there. This is their philosophy. They always do their best to make the customers happy. Thanks to all.

Awesome customer service! Vast selection and extremely informative sales-staff for my potential marine purchase. I had the pleasure of speaking with Bill who was patient and explained to me the in's and out's of logistics for the class of boats I was inquiring about. I will definitely be doing business with Bill at Crates and would absolutely refer any of my friends and family as well.
