Update: April 14 2020
The Ontario government is extending the province’s state of emergency for an additional 28 days until Tuesday, May 12th. The extension of the provincial declaration of emergency allows Ontario to continue to enforce current emergency orders, such as the closure of all non-essential workplaces.
April 4, 2020
With the Province of Ontario’s recent changes to the list of essential services, our facilities are now temporarily closed until April 18, 2020. Further updates will be posted here as the situation evolves.
While this shutdown comes at a most inconvenient time, just as we are ramping-up for spring launch, we do respect the decision by health officials and understand our responsibility to protect our workers and clients. It is up to all of us to do our part and help flatten the curve.
During this time sales staff will be working from home to help you with all your boat buying needs. Department managers are also working from home in a limited capacity. Team members are available by cell phone or email, and of course we’re always open at www.cratesboats.com
Like you, we can’t wait to get back out on the water as soon as possible. Although this pandemic is likely to delay the start of the 2020 boating season, you can rest assured that our team has been working diligently in advance of this shutdown to get as much work done as possible. When normal operations resume we will do everything in our power to get boats in the water quickly and minimize the impact on our boaters!
As caring and compassionate Canadians we are working hard to support our staff, family and our community throughout this pandemic. We applaud our brave healthcare professionals, first responders and all front line workers who are the true heroes in this crisis, and we thank you our customers for your understanding and support!
This too shall pass. When it does, we will be ready!
Sincerely,
The Crate Family
